The firm's beloved founder, had over a half century of experience as a licensed architect, engineer, land surveyor, and planner. John Evans was a graduate of University of Chicago, then went on to earn his Master's Degree at Newark College of Engineering. John Evans had been Borough Engineer of North Haledon, NJ, President of the Paterson Board of Standards and Appeals, consultant to the Paterson Parking Authority, and the West Paterson, School Board, and a former member of Board of Directors of St. Joseph's Hospital.
MATTHEW EVANS, AIAARCHITECT • PLANNER
Architect and planner licensed in New York and New Jersey. Matthew is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island (1984), and the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he earned a Master’s in Architecture (1995). Matthew has 35 years of experience in architectural design, construction, and planning. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and currently sits on the boards of the Paterson Chamber of Commerce and the Paterson Restoration Corporation.
